General
- Is DocTour a Medical Clinic?
NO. DocTour is an integrated platform of services, but we DO NOT have any physical installations where you can visit us. All of our Services are online, on-site or delivered to your place of stay.
- Can I use DocTour’s App and Services for an emergency?
Do not use the DocTour services or the health application for medical services for someone who is unconscious, not breathing or gasping for air, experiencing an allergic reaction, having chest pain, uncontrollably bleeding, or any other symptoms that require immediate or emergent medical attention. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room (ER) immediately.
- Can I access DocTour’s App & Platform from my Cellphone? YES. You can use our App on a variety of devices like, computers, cellphones, tablets and other digital devices.
Registration
- Can I register more than one person?
YES. When you register for a Membership you can choose to get a membership for your family members or other persons. You will be charged one membership for every person you register.
- Do I need to register for On-Demand Services?
YES. You need to register for On-Demand Services because we still need to register and secure your personal, medical and financial information so you can access and use our Platform & Services. - How Do I know if I’m staying with one of your partners?
Ask your Hotel/ Vacation Rental if they are our Partners, or consult the complete list of our Partners Here.
Prices & Payments
- Where can I see the the prices for the Products & Services? You can check our Prices on our site in the Prices menu. You can also review our complete Prices & Discounts by logging-in to DocTour App and clicking on the pricing tab in your Dashboard.
- Are the prices in US Dollars? YES. All prices for our Services are displayed in US Dollars, but depending on your payment method the charge can be in US Dollars or Mexican Pesos and the exchange rate will be the one our banking system uses for that day.
- Do you accept cash for your Services? NO. Unfortunately, we do not accept any cash, our model is made so you do not have to carry or withdraw any money.
- What payment methods do you accept? We accept any credit/debit cards that are internationally recognized like VISA and MASTERCARD. We also accept PayPal, and other online payment methods.
How does it work?
- Can I call DocTour for medical advice?
NO. All of the medical interactions are either online or face to face.
- How can I order meds in DocTour’s App & Platform?
To order medication you have to login on the App and select the option “Order Meds” in the “Products & Services” tab in your dashboard. You will be redirected to chat with our “Medical Assistant”. You can ask him for your medication. If the medication you need is sold with a prescription you have two options:- a. If you already have a prescription, you can upload a photo of your prescription to the App and send it to the assistant and order your medication.
- b. If you don’t have a prescription, the Medical Assistant can redirect you to chat with one of our Doctors.
- Can I just ask for a home consultation instead of chat or video-call?
YES. To make a home consultation appointment you have to login on the App and select the “Home Consultation” option in the " Services” tab in your dashboard. You will be redirected to DocTour’s Agenda where you will be able to make your appointment (normally within a few hours) so one of our Doctors can visit you.
Security
- Is my personal and financial information secure?
YES. Our App have multiple layers of security and your personal and financial information are stored in well protected databases. For more information, be sure to check our Terms & Conditions located on our Website or our App. - Can I get a hold on the medical records that DocTour’s personnel generated?
Although you can’t get a hold of your medical records because the law doesn’t allow it, you can download a medical report from the “Reports” section of our App. This medical report will have all the information your personal doctor needs in order to have a follow up on your health & recovery process back at home.
Tech Support
- I need help using the Website or the App & Platform, do you have tech support?
YES. You can always click on the “Web Assistant” tab on bottom right corner of your screen available on the Website and in the App & Platform. He will assist you with anything related to functionalities and processes of our technology platform, as well as with any App & Platform related topic.
